In January of 1996, RadioScope began the following report on Faith Evans with that question. At the time, she was promoting “As Soon As I Get Home,” the second single of her debut album, “Faith,” and follow up to her impactful “You Used to Love Me.”

She was two years into her marriage to Bad Boy Records label mate Notorious B.I.G., and despite her declaration that their relationship was all good, the streets were saying otherwise.

Faith also talks about her difficulty in trying to please her producer and label head Sean “Puffy” Combs in the studio, expresses frustration with the slow pace of her project and much more.
