Picture yourself listening to radio station KUTE102-FM and the legendary Los Angeles, air-personality, Lee Bailey is getting ready to play cuts from the new Johnny Britt album, in his next set! ‘Mo Jazzin’ is a diverse collection of musical gems for real music fiends. The album’s 14 tracks play like a smooth jazz festival by the sea. Guitarist, Norman Brown, Grammy Nominated, ‘Indy Soul King’, Eric Roberson, Guitarist, Paul Jackson, Jr., and Saxophonist, Marion Meadows have all laid their get-down on this project giving ‘Mo Jazzin an extra-special fusion of sophisticated Soul, Jazz, and R&B. The title track ‘MO JAZZIN’, Johnny and Norman Brown pay homage to their Motown/MoJazz Records days where they were labelmates. ‘KEEP WORKING IT OUT’ featuring Eric Roberson, a mid-tempo sing-along is a song that celebrates Johnny’s 34-year  wedding anniversary (Aug 16) to his wife Arlene. Beautifully crafted songs featuring Paul Jackson, Jr. and Marion Meadows make ‘Mo Jazzin’ a staple, in any music collection. Dave Koz had this to say, Johnny Britt is an amazingly consistent music-maker, providing listeners with tracks that make you immediately want to press ‘repeat’! And his latest release is no different. Way to go, Johnny!’

Part of Britt’s premise for recording ‘Mo Jazzin’ was to capture significant moments in his music career, from his former group Impromp2 to his personal life, as well as to record with some of the baddest and most respected musicians of our time on this album.

Johnny Britt continues to establish himself as a musical voice and composer to be reckoned with in 2020. Catch Johnny’s show ‘The Turntable’ on London’s Solar Radio 4AM – 6AM UK Time and 8PM – 10PM PST and his YouTube podcast ‘The Turntable’ — first episode features Actor, Leon.
