*Cardi B has responded to Carole Baskin’s (Tiger King) criticism of her WAP music video with Megan Thee Stallion, because it features exotic cats.

The Big Cat Rescue CEO says that the rapper’s use of the tigers as props sends the wrong message that it’s cool to “glamorize” having them as pets.

In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, Baskin explained why she believes it was exploitative to use big cats in the video.

“You have to pose a wildcat in front of a green screen to get that image and that doesn’t happen in the wild,” Baskin wrote. “It can’t happen in sanctuaries like ours where cats have plenty of room to avoid a green screen (or would shred it if offered access and could die from ingesting it). That tells me they probably dealt with one of the big cat pimps, probably even one of the ones shown in Tiger King, Murder, Mayhem and Madness, who make a living from beating, shocking and starving cats to make them stand on cue in front of a green screen in a studio.”

Cardi responded to her statement in a recent interview with Vice, saying “I’m not gonna engage with Carole Baskin on that. Like, that’s just ridiculous you know? Oh, Lord. Like, girl you killed your goddamn husband.”

Meanwhile, King continues to deny speculation that she killed her husband (Don Lewis), fed his body to her tigers and is now living comfortably with his millions.

Lewis’ daughters have filed a lawsuit against the Texas native. The family is also offering a $100,000 reward for any information that will help solve his missing persons case, per The Houston Chronicle

“Amazingly, our little family tragedy has become your tragedy,” Lewis’ daughter Gale Rathbone said at a press conference, referencing the Netflix series “Tiger King,” as reported by the Associated Press. “Our search for closure and truth has become your mission also,” she said. “We all know by now that (Lewis) was not a perfect man. But do only the perfect among us deserve justice?”

Lewis and Baskin started an animal sanctuary, which later became Big Cat Rescue Corp. in Tampa, Florida. He reportedly vanished a day before a planned trip to Costa Rica and was never seen again. He was declared legally dead in 2002. His family believes Carole murdered him.
