Megan Thee Stallion ‘Felt Very Betrayed by Friends’ After Shooting [VIDEO]

*Megan Thee Stallion hosted a virtual Q&A for fans on Instagram Live, where she opened up about feeling betrayed by her friends following the shooting incident with Tory Lanez

The rapper previously took to Instagram Live to talk about the injuries she sustained in the July 12th shooting that landed her in the hospital, calling it “the worst experience of my life.”

“It was super scary,” said Meghan. “It was just the worst experience of my life and it’s not funny, it’s nothing to joke about and nothing for y’all to go and be making fake stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot.”

Interestingly, Megan didn’t mention Tory during the IG Live. Their wild night out together resulted in his arrest for carrying a concealed weapon … but not for shooting her.

“Y’all take your whole life to Instagram and Twitter and make it a diary, and that’s not me,” she added. “I ain’t never seen so many men chime in something that ain’t none of their motherfuckin’ business. What if your sister got shot?”

During her IG Live session on Friday, when a fan asked “What did you feel after getting shot?,” the hip-hop star spoke candidly about not feeling like a victim.

“I feel like this is a thing that I see every single day and I see so many women and I see so many men talking shit about this,” she said. “I felt, like, really crazy. I felt like, why did I get shot? Like, what did I do? It was insane. But shit was crazy and I feel like some people think that it’s funny and some people think that it’s a joke and I feel like some people are saying that to get to me.”

Megan then made clear that she felt quite betrayed by her friends following the shooting.

“It’s not fun, bitch,” she said. “I don’t understand. I just felt very betrayed by a friend. I felt very betrayed by all my friends. I felt very shocked, very scared. But the one thing that y’all need to know about me is I’m not a person who is able to be down for a long time … I don’t like to be victimized. I don’t like to feel like ‘Oh my god, Megan, something’s wrong.’ I like to be upbeat. I like to be happy.”

She went on to say that she chooses to always be “a light” in life by leading by example.

“Pain does not last forever,” she said. “Bad times don’t last forever. So I definitely always want people to see me being an example of bad things not lasting forever. Just because you go through something bad, don’t mean that that’s the time you’re gonna be in forever.”
