*Drake paid tribute to Tupac Shakur with two new Jesus pieces featuring the late rapper’s face – one sporting a red bandana, the other a blue one.
Drake and Jason Arasheben, Jason of Beverly Hills’ founding designer, posted videos of the double diamond chains on their respective Instagram accounts Wednesday (July 29). According to Complex, each pendant’s estimated value is $300,000, making the set $600,000 in total.
The chains are reportedly made out of “70 carats of flawless white and natural yellow diamonds, as well as over half of kilo of gold in total.” It took approximately five weeks (150 hours) to complete the pieces, which Drake initially conceptualized before discussing it with Arasheben and eventually working on it together.
