*A viral video making the rounds this week involves a family’s game of Taboo with marriage literally in the cards.
In one of the more epic ways of popping the question, Daunta went all out to camouflage his proposal within a birthday party. He also somehow pre-arranged for his Taboo cards to contain the words “will,” “you,” “merry” (to avoid tipping off his girlfriend with “marry”) and “me.” His fiancee, Christina, was tasked with making sure he didn’t say any of the taboo words.
As guests correctly guessed the words, Daunta tossed those cards on the ground and moved onto the next card. At the end of the round, the couple argued over just how many words Daunta “gave” correctly. Duanta got down on one knee to examine the cards he had tossed. He picked them up and slammed them down with authority one by one, saying, “Will. You. Merry. Me.”
It took several seconds for his future wife to get it. Once she did, her sudden shift in expression is everything!
