*Al B. Sure fans are aware that he and late model Kim Porter share a son, 29-year old singer and actor Quincy Brown. But in a new interview, Al B. dropped a bombshell when he revealed that he and Porter were actually married.
“I posted something the other day, talking about my ex-wife, yeah I said it, my ex-wife. Kimberly”
He then goes on to share recount the moment he learned Porter passed away.
“Nobody knew, cause we didn’t discuss being married, we didn’t discuss it. I was just giving her, every so often I give her a tribute. Everybody took it, and I’m like listen .. I was going to film the pre packages for maybe Soul Train awards or something, with Tisha Campbell, produced by Jesse Collins. Amazing like I said, and I’m like …So I just posted something, cuz I was in the back of the car. I was on the way to the Palms Hotel. And I’m just, I’m taping stuff, and so what happen is I get the call from Queen Donaldson telling me ‘Are you okay?’ Why are you asking me am I okay? ‘Are you alright?’ And I’m like yeah, I’m fine, I’m going to film, we’re doing the opening packages for Soul Train Awards.”

Al B. also notes that he was responsible for relocating Porter from Georgia to New York to begin her modeling career.
“And then, I was like, why? ‘Did you hear about Kimberly?’ So uhm, people don’t understand the real, Jimmy know! Like so the bottom line is this, everybody see all of this, you know this that and the other. I moved Kimberly, Jimmy know. I moved Kimberly, From Columbus, Georgia to New York I bought her and my sister a condo up in Riverdale. I put them in a beautiful condo. That’s when we started to search for her modeling career and things of that nature. Cuz she wanted to model, and I said whatever you want to do, let’s just make whatever happen.”
Porter, who had three children with Sean “Diddy” Combs, died from lobar pneumonia, according to the coroner’s report. But Al B. claimed in a now-deleted post that she was murdered and was in good health just days before.
On Instagram, Sure captioned an old clip of him crying while listening to music in a car, “I just found this footage from the morning I learned of @LadyKP’s aka #KimPorters murder and how it ripped the soul from my physical body” (peep the clip via the Twitter post above).
He also tagged Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold on the post, adding: “I do know very clearly that #Kimberly didn’t just check out all of sudden over neumonia [sic] That’s some bull sh** Really? This is where I get in trouble. We just celebrated our son @Quincy’s new deal and Christmas special with Netflix and she was in fantastic health as well laughing seeing me and @Diddy’s mutual exchange at the theater. I’m going to leave it here.”
Meanwhile, friends of Porter claim she went to the doctor days before she died with “cold/flu-like symptoms.”
She was found dead at her Los Angeles home at the age of 47 on November 15.
