*LOS ANGELES — Dozens of organizations have joined together to distribute food and other necessities to communities in need throughout Los Angeles as part of a yearlong service effort organized by Love Has No Limits.
Love Has No Limits is a collaborative movement of over 100 organizations committed to showing Los Angeles the greatest display of love it has ever seen through a series of service initiatives, including homeless and youth outreach, foster care support, and distribution of food and medical care to communities in need.
Previous distributions held in areas such as Fullerton, Chatsworth, Lynwood, Watts and Compton provided almost 400,000 lbs. of food along with clothes, toys, coffee and pet food.
This weekend, Love Has No Limits will mobilize hundreds of volunteers at food distributions and back-to-school drives in communities such as Simi Valley, Grenada Hills, Long Beach, Sherman Oaks, West Covina and Wilmington.
