Is Kanye Having Second Thoughts About 2020 Presidential Run Amid Manic Episode?

KANYE WEST

*Kanye West has hinted that he might delay his 2020 presidential run to 2024.

One day after sharing a series of concerning tweets about how his life is similar to the narrative in “Get Out,” the rapper took to social media to update fans on his political goals.

“#2020VISION or maybe ‘24,” West wrote on Twitter Tuesday, which included a photo of an orange piece of paper of what appears to be a tracklist for his upcoming album

“I guess all black people supposed to vote on Biden?” he added. “Y’all want me to run on nah???”

West recently criticized the former Vice President in a Forbes interview, in which he also had a message for the 2020 presidential candidates.

“For the other candidates, I just gracefully suggest y’all bow out—Trump and Biden, gracefully bow out,” he told the publication. “It’s God’s country, we are doing everything in service to God, nobody but God no more. I am in service of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, and I put everything I get on the line to serve God.”

Kanye spoke in detail with Forbes about his White House ambitions. The Chicago native said he’s not running as a Democrat or a Republican, but under the “Birthday Party” because “when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday.”

When it comes to the Democratic party, West explained:  “A lot of times just like political parties they feel all Blacks have to be Democrat. This man, Joe Biden, said if you don’t vote for me, then you are not Black. Well, act like we didn’t hear that? We act like we didn’t hear that man say that? That man said that. It’s a rap. We gonna walk, all the people.”

He added: “That is a form of racism and white supremacy and white control to say that all Black people need to be Democrat and to assume that me running is me splitting the vote. All of that information is being charged up on social media platforms by Democrats.”

Kanye also said he has been threatened over his political views.

“Democrats used to tell me, the same Democrats have threatened me…. The reason why this is the first day I registered to vote is because I was scared. I was told that if I voted on Trump my music career would be over. I was threatened into being in one party. I was threatened as a celebrity into being in one party. I was threatened as a Black man into the Democratic party. And that’s what the Democrats are doing, emotionally, to my people. Threatening them to the point where this white man can tell a Black man if you don’t vote for me, you’re not Black.”

West revealed Monday that he plans to release a new album on Friday in honor of his mother Donda, who died in 2007.

Following his first presidential rally over the weekend, Ye said his wife Kim Kardashian “was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughter’s life yesterday,” referring to his abortion comments about North West.

A source told PEOPLE that Ye is having a bipolar episode and that he refuses to take his medication. Kim Kardashian “has been trying to get Kanye help for weeks,” said the insider.

“But what do you do when a person doesn’t want help?” the source said, noting that West has been staying at the family’s compound in Cody, Wyoming. “Kanye is in Cody because he doesn’t want help. If he wanted help, he would come back to L.A.”

Kanye claims the Kardashians are accusing him of being crazy because he wants to speaks his truth.
