*Nene Leakes took to Instagram Thursday to show support for Tamar Braxton after the singer’s alleged suicide attempt on July 16.
“When you are a strong person, you manage stress differently! People tend to judge the outside. Strength on the inside abilities to cope,” Leakes wrote. “A lot of strong people cry in the dark and hurt alone. I talk to Tamar often! Spoke to her yesterday and tried to pull her thru this moment. Spoke to her and David today!”
Leakes also urged her followers to check in on their seemingly “strong” friends.
“I say that to say this…check on your strong friends! Try not to judge so much! know that there are people being treated wrong for real and It’s really painful. I know Tamar is gonna get thru this but please pray for her strength.”

Braxton was reportedly found unresponsive in her suite at the Ritz Carlton hotel by her boyfriend David Adefesco.
According to Page Six, she sent an email to her WEtv bosses, accusing them of destroying her family and making her “suicidal.”
The letter was sent weeks before her alleged suicide attempt on Thursday night. The singer and her family have appeared on the network’s reality shows for more than a decade.
Braxton allegedly detailed her downward spiral in the email seen by by the outlet, explaining that her family is in “disarray.”
She noted that “the final stake into the heart of my family” was the day the network “dug up a secret I’d never shared with anyone, a secret I was so ashamed to talk about that I hid it even from my own mom: the fact that I had been assaulted and raped repeatedly from age 6 to age 16, sometimes multiple times a day.”
Braxton said the show’s producers “exposed it on your show in front of my entire family and 100 crew members.” She added, “You broke me that day and I considered ending my own life then for the shame I felt!”
She ended the email, “I have news for you! Today, I take my power back. I will no longer tolerate being oppressed. I am asking you to break the chains NOW and LET ME GO I am suffocating! I CAN’T BREATHE!!”
