*Ice Cube has responded to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s assertion that the rapper is  and “remorseless.”

The former NBA star wrote a recent column for the Hollywood Reporter, in which he slammed Ice Cube by noting that his “10 daylong series of tweets, which involved some creepy symbols and images, in general implied that Jews were responsible for the oppression of blacks.”

Last month, Cube caught heat over the alleged anti-Semitic images he posted on Twitter.

Fans were quick to slam the actor over what they deemed to be offensive imagery of Jewish men with exaggerated facial features. One image showed the men playing Monopoly on the backs of Black folks, per PEOPLE. The other image touted the conspiracy theory that the “Black Cube of Saturn” lies within the Star of David.

“F— THE NEW NORMAL UNTIL THEY FIX THE OLD NORMAL!” Ice Cube wrote alongside the Monopoly image on June 6.

Several Twitter users immediately responded to the post, asking Cube to delete the memes, Daily Mail reports.

“What if I was just pro-Black?,” Ice Cube said in response to Abdul-Jabbar’s column. “This is the truth brother. I didn’t lie on anyone. I didn’t say I was anti anybody. DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE. I’ve been telling my truth.”

Abdul-Jabbar fired back with, “His “truth” was clearly anti-Semitic but, like Trump, he believes his truth exists outside facts. As writer Roxane Gay summed it up: “It is impossible to take you seriously with regards to social justice or anything when you post anti-Semitic imagery. What the f&*# are you doing?””

Ice Cube slammed the former basketball great on Twitter on Wednesday, writing: “Shame on the Hollywood Reporter who obviously gave my brother Kareem 30 pieces of silver to cut us down without even a phone call,” he wrote, referring to Judas betraying Jesus for that amount of compensation.

The athlete’s commentary comes amid backlash over Nick Cannon’s alleged anti-Semitic remarks and his claim that white people are “barbaric”, “evil” and  “savages”.

Cannon on Wednesday apologized for the comments, one day after he was dropped by ViacomCBS.
