Welp! It looks like Bryshere Gray has been a bad boy. Maybe the lockdown is getting to him. Whatever the reason, he’s dealing with a domestic violence charge.

The actor/rapper who starred on Fox’s “Empire” was arrested Sunday night in connection with a domestic violence incident at his Goodyear, Arizona home.

Here’s the deal as reported by ABC15, officers responded to a Circle K store/gas station around 10:15pm local time Sunday evening after a 911 call reporting that a woman had been assaulted. Police said the victim flagged down a citizen shortly before at another gas station and said she had been assaulted at her home “for several hours” by her husband, who she identified as Gray.

Police say the actor’s wife had numerous visible injuries on her body, and cops say she claimed Bryshere strangled her and she temporarily lost consciousness during the alleged assault.

The victim, Gray’s wife, was treated and released for non-life-threatening injuries, and Goodyear detectives and victims’ advocates continued to assist after she was discharged from the hospital.

As far as the actor’s apprehension, when officers tried to contact him at the couple’s home, he refused to cooperate with police. At that point, Goodyear SWAT and Crisis Negotiations were also called to the scene to assist.

According to police, Gray surrendered without incident just after 7am Monday. He was taken into custody and be booked on domestic violence charges.

Gray was arrested in Chicago just last year for driving without a license and was charged with possession of a title or registration not authorized on a vehicle.
