*Social media influencer, serial entrepreneur and author Jazmine Ameerah Cheaves, known by her fans as as “Lookin Ameerah” or “BiggJazz,” is a young boss who is showing that millennials are a force to be reckoned with. The 24-year-old mogul has generated millions from her cosmetics products, touring lash seminars, and now, she’s got something for your kitchen.

A native of Savannah, GA, BiggJazz owns The Glam Trap, a full-service beauty studio in Atlanta, GA. The Georgia State University graduate began to host eyelash classes in 2016 and at her very first class tallied an enormous payday, clearing $50,000 in one day. Needless to say, that put her on the map as one of the biggest names in the lash and beauty industry.

Even more impressive, though, is her ability to identify opportunities even in the midst of hardship. When the Covid-19 pandemic crippled the nation this spring, BiggJazz was forced to close her beauty shop for the safety of her customers.   However, she tapped into her creativity and love for cooking to launch her own line of cookware called Lookin Ameerah Cookware, which consists of colorful and flamboyantly styled accessories and cooking products.  In just a few weeks, the company is already a hit, with online sales soaring through the roof. Also, BiggJazz is the author of  Lookin a Cookbook, which contains some of her favorite recipes and is releasing her own line of seasonings and sauces.

“I’m just an entrepreneur to the core, a real hustler,” she said. “I feel like in order to be successful in this society you can’t sit back and wait on opportunities, you have to make things happen for yourself. When the quarantine started, no one was coming to book appointments at my shop, so instead of feeling sorry for myself, I started another company in an area that I enjoy, cooking. People are loving the products and I can’t wait to release more items and recipes.”

Rainbow colored multi-tasking pots, 24 karat gold silverware sets, cooking utensils, seasoning salts, and a juice kit are all available on the company website.  Followers are likely to see her bouncing to Hip-Hop beats while whipping up savory dishes in her kitchen.

BiggJazz’s hustle completely dispels the widespread notion that millennials are entitled and lack initiative. The reality is that this young trendsetter is leading a tidal wave of young entrepreneurs who are not only innovators but real moneymakers who understand technology, the market and its needs.

“I think millennials and their ideas are more important now than ever before. We have a lot of talent and creativity,” she said.  “That’s why I make a point to encourage my followers and let them know that if I can do it, they can do it. Watch out for us!”

In the near future, fans can look forward to much more from BigJazz, as she is preparing to release new apparel and another book this summer.
