Rihanna, Tina Lawson Slam Kentucky’s ‘Coon’ Attorney General Over Handling of Breonna Taylor Case

Rihanna

*Rihanna has called out Kentucky’s Attorney General over the lack of accountability for Breonna Taylor’s killers.

The singer addressed AG Daniel Cameron directly in a post on Instagram in which she asked why the cops who murdered the aspiring nurse haven’t been arrested.

“Over 100 days after #breonnataylor was MURDERED!! Her killers are at home watching Netflix on the couch. WTF is America?!” the message read. “yerrrrr @danieljaycameron , where we at with this my brother?!”

Cameron previously noted on his own Twitter account that he is “in the process of determining what investigatory steps we believe we need to take place.”

He also explained that the FBI “is conducting an individual investigation into the facts surrounding the shooting” and said that “at the conclusion of the investigation, the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division will determine if the officers’ actions violated federal law.”

Meanwhile, Cameron is catching heat after it was discovered that he and his white fiancé hosted an engagement party amid calls for justice for Breonna.

Beyonce’s mother, Tina Lawson, reposted a series of photos that were allegedly taken over the weekend at the party. In the snaps, the Attorney General is smiling and living it up… and the sight of it has enraged many.

Tina wrote, “I was shocked to learn that the attorney general for Kentucky is a 34-year-old black man. We are ASHAMED of you brother!!! Coonery at it ‘s finest!”

One fan commented, “HELLO!! Miss Tina said I’m done being quiet.”

Another Twitter user noted… “And this is why we can’t get justice for Breonna Taylor. You have to remember, Black men who date outside of their race are almost ALWAYS ANTI-BLACK WOMAN.”

I was shocked to learn that the attorney general for Kentucky is a 34 year old black man. A republican . When Breonna’s Mother Tamika asked to speak with him , he had someone else call her. ! ?? When he ran for office there are a lot of Black people that were excited and thought oh my God maybe we have a fair chance now because it will be a black man in this position ! He will be fair and unbiased towards Black people. They voted for him. Well That’s why it’s important to educate yourself on people who are running for office . I have no problem with who he marries , that is his personal business. That is not what this post is about ! I just don’t understand his actions !!! And where are their masks ?

Statement from Attorney General Cameron regarding the investigation into the death of Ms. Breonna Taylor:

A post shared by Daniel Cameron (@danieljaycameron) on

Earlier this month, Beyonce penned an open letter to the AG writing, “Dear Attorney General [Daniel] Cameron,” the letter reads. “It has now been over three months since members of the Louisville Metro Police Department killed Breonna Taylor … Three months have passed — and zero arrests have been made, and no officers have been fired.

“The LMPD’s investigation was turned over to your office, and yet all of the officers involved in the shooting remain employed by the LMPD. Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly and Officers Myles Cosgrove and Brett Hankison must be held accountable for their actions.”

Beyoncé added, “Breonna Taylor’s family still waits for justice. Ms. Taylor’s family has not been able to take the time to process and grieve. Instead, they have been working tirelessly to rally the support of friends, their community and the country to obtain justice for Breonna. Your office has both the power and the responsibility to bring justice to Breonna Taylor, and demonstrate the value of a Black woman’s life. I urge you to use that power.”

No charges have been brought against the white officers who executed Taylor inside her home, while she slept, during a botched and illegal drug raid. The suspect the officers were looking for did not live with her and was already in police custody. No drugs were found inside Taylor’s apartment.
