*If you don’t know Brandé Elise or Danielle Gray yet you definitely will. They are the founders of a new CBD company called Unoia (u-noy-uh) meaning beautiful thinking. The black-owned business was established by the duo last July right in their very own kitchen.
Starting with just honey, the company has grown now providing oil drops, muscle relief, pet tinctures, and even treats. Unoia is all about beautiful thinking targeting mental health, mindfulness, and self-care.
EURweb correspondent Monique Loveless had a fun conversation with the Co-founders discussing the company, their beautiful thinking program, and educating the black community about CBD.
“It’s been a learning curve for a lot of people. They ask is this weed?’ Brandé explains when letting others know about their products.
CBD isn’t a new concept but as of lately has become very popular over the last couple of years with the rise of marijuana legalization. Most don’t realize that cannabinoid is a plant with many elements and uses.

“THC gets you high while CBD takes away,” Danielle says while discussing the difference between marijuana and CBD. Gray continues on by discussing the benefits of CBD. “ It takes away, anxiety, it takes away chronic pain, it takes away all those voices in your head. We believe when all those things are taken away you can be in the state of beautiful thinking.”
The power couple’s company trains and educates their sales teams, gives love offerings to deserving charities every quarter, provides mental health resources to customers, supplies CBD education to consumers and most of all supports the motto of self-care.

“We have moms that are like thank you! I don’t have to wait in my car for 10 minutes to get prepared to walk into what I am about to walk into before going into the house,” Elise says.
