In the age of Black Lives Matter our coalition demonstrated that unified message in an epic David vs Goliath battle with Crenshaw community leaders going head to head against CIM a multi-million dollar corporation CIM stopping their efforts to buy our Baldwin Hills Mall which if our coalition had been unsuccessful in doing it would have been the nuclear bomb of gentrification in our community,” said organizer Najee Ali of Project Islamic Hope
