*CNN’s Van Jones said the “white, liberal Hillary Clinton supporter” poses more of a threat to Black Americans than the average white racist who bootlicks for white supremacy.
His comments come in response to Amy Cooper (AKA #CentralParkKaren), the white woman who called the cops and falsely accused a Black man (Christian Cooper) of threatening her when he asked her to put a leash on her dog as he was bird-watching in the park.
Many on social media noted that Amy’s weaponizing of her whiteness could have gotten the Black man killed by the police.
“It’s not the racist white person, who is in the Ku Klux Klan that we have to worry about. It’s the white, liberal Hillary Clinton supporter walking her dog in Central Park who would tell you right now, ‘Oh I don’t see race, race is no big deal to me, I see all people the same, I give to charities’ but the minute she sees as black man who she does not respect, or who she has a slight thought against, she weaponized race like she had been taught by the Aryan Nation,” Jones said. “A Klan member could not have been better trained to pick up her phone and tell the police it’s a black man.”

Jones also believes “even the most liberal, well-intentioned white person” has a racist “virus” that can be “activated” at any moment. Do you agree?
“What you’re seeing now is a curtain falling away,” he said. “Those of us who have been burdened by this every minute, every second of our entire lives are fragile right now… we are tired.”

Christian Cooper captured his exchange with Amy on his cell phone — which was posted on Facebook and Twitter by his sister — and the footage quickly sparked debate about racism.
Amy released an apology last Tuesday, saying she “reacted emotionally and made false assumptions about his intentions.”
She is currently being investigated by The New York City Commission on Human Rights, Fox News reports.
