*President Donald Trump was the focus of online ridicule Thursday after a new campaign video went viral.

The federal PAC Meidas Touch took aim at Trump’s comments about the National Guard clearing out protesters in front of the White House with tear gas and rubber bullets so he could walk unencumbered to a blasphemous photo-op across the street.

“It’s not supposed to be a beautiful scene, but to me it was,” he said Thursday during a roundtable with faith leaders, law enforcement and small business owners in Dallas. Trump’s entire remarks praising the National Guard’s tactics are intercut in the video with images of protesters being shot with rubber bullets, run into by police vehicles, pushed to the ground by law enforcement and tear-gassed.  Trump says the National Guard troops cut through protesters “like a knife cutting butter” and noted that “yes there was some tear gas.”

Meidas Touch ends the video with:  “None of this is beautiful. Vote out this #uglypresident.” The hashtag began trending nationwide Thursday night.
