*A coalition of Muslim civil rights groups is calling for a meeting with LAPD Chief Michael Moore and L.A.County Sheriff Alex Villanueva respectively.
Both departments had Sheriff’s deputies and LAPD officers who were accused of excessive force by peaceful protesters all over Los Angeles county in recent days.
There is video evidence of law enforcement officers using excessive force and intimidation tactics against protesters We plan on turning in video evidence to Sheriff’ Villanueva and Chief Moore to review for an immediate investigation.

We also call for Los Angeles D.A. Jackie Lacey to review tapes of law enforcement officers who brutalized peaceful protesters.
