*Acclaimed television producer Dick Wolf, the mastermind behind the longrunning “Law & Order” franchise, has fired one of his producers for threatening to shoot looters.

As reported by The Wrap, Craig Gore, writer and producer for an upcoming SUV spinoff starring Christopher Meloni, was fired for a post he shared showing him posed with a weapon in front of his LA home, and threatening to “light motherf*ckers up who are trying to fuck [with] my property.”

Twitter users were quick to make Wolf aware of the post, and he replied with the following statement on Twitter: “I will not tolerate this conduct, especially during our hour of national grief,” Wolf said. “I am terminating Craig Gore immediately.”

When Twitter user Drew Janda, an associate producer at NBCUniversal, tagged Meloni in a tweet about the post that Gore has since deleted, the actor responded: “Matt Olmstead is my Showrunner. I have gotten no word on ANY hirings. I have no idea who this person is or what they do,” he said of Gore.

As noted by Cinema Blend, Craig Gore has worked on multiple seasons of CBS’ “S.W.A.T.” and Wolf’s NBC drama “Chicago P.D.”.

According to Gore’s IMDb bio, he’s a former  “professional thief” who was allegedly arrested at age 18 for his criminal activity before being released on parole at 20.

Meanwhile, Meloni, who played Elliot Stabler on “Law & Order: SVU,” will revive the character for a new crime drama from Dick Wolf.

As reported by Deadline, in the series, Stabler heads an organized crime unit in the New York Police Department, which could lead to crossovers with his former partner Oliver Benson (Mariska Hargitay)  and her “SVU” team.
