*Iowa state senator Randy Feenstra beat GOP Leader Steve King, a Republican congressman with a history of being racist, Tuesday night.
It was high-time for King to get the boot. He has openly supported white supremacy on live television, and referred to other ethnicities as “subgroups.”
The Iowa representative once released a video that showed a Confederate flag on his desk — even though Iowa wasn’t even in the confederacy! He also led the movement to keep Harriet Tubman off the $20 bill, arguing that putting a black woman on American currency was both sexist and racist.
King’s nine-term reign has come to an end. Good riddens!
