*In a video that has gone viral, a black woman in New York pointed to the rubble of what was once her store and spoke angrily about being looted by her own people.
“Do you know the problem that bothers me; you said black lives matter,” she vented to the camera with support of bystanders. “I worked here. Part-time. Plus I am a part-owner of the store. You said black lives matter. Why don’t you choke me? I’m black. Look what you did to my store. Look!”
The woman continued pointing to the rubble, saying she’d been there all night cleaning after looters ransacked and tore up the store.
“Now tell me black lives matter. You lied,” she said. “You wanted to loot the store. You needed money. Get a job. Like I do. Stop stealing. This is the neighborhood. We are trying to build it up and you’re tearing it down.”
