*Well now, this is interesting. After telling the world how much of real “softie” her husband, now-former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is, Kellie Chauvin is suddenly divorcing him.
Yep, just like that. Remember, she’s the one who said …
“He’s such a gentleman. He still opens the door for me, still puts my coat on for me. After my divorce, I had a list of must-haves if I were ever to be in a relationship, and he fit all of them.”
Well, if he’s all that, WHY, just when you would think he needs her the most, she’s decided to go ghost in the marriage?
In any event, in her statement, she also sent condolences to George Floyd’s family, saying she’s “devastated” by his death.

What also could have been an interesting twist, if true, is that Tou Thao, the Asian police officer who was also on the scene with Chauvin, is Kellie Chauvin’s brother. However, it is NOT true as we reported HERE.
We’re also wondering about her stated reasons for the divorce: she’s “devastated” by George Floyd’s death. While we certainly understand that because we are as well, but why is that a factor in divorcing him? Could it be, as its being speculated online and in the streets, that perhaps the Chauvins and Floyd “knew” each other? Was there a “triangle” of some sort going on?
OR, maybe we’re completely off base because as some are speculating online, she did it to “to protect her assets for her and her children from her first marriage.”
Huh? OK, whatever. We shall see.
In any event, as the age-old saying goes, something ain’t right in the milk.
