Tracee Ellis Ross Talks Fulfilling ‘Childhood Dream’ in New Film ‘The High Note’ (Watch)

*Tracee Ellis Ross has always loved singing but other successes in her career got in the way of ever making a serious attempt to follow in her famous mom’s footsteps … until now.

The “Black-ish” actress, 47, was on “Good Morning America” Tuesday to discuss her musical debut in the upcoming film “The High Note.”

“I mean, I was doing pretty good with the TV and the acting and all that, and then this role came along and that childhood dream that has been just been waiting in there to get out got to do her thing,” Ross told “GMA” co-anchor Robin Roberts.
