‘That Ain’t the First Incident’: FedEx Worker Who Filmed Viral Video of Racist Encounter Speaks Out

*The podcast No Jumper spoke with Antonio Braswell, the FedEx driver who went viral for filming an encounter with a racist customer.

Braswell sais that the white man who “cursed them out” after they dropped off a package had a gun in his waistband and made it visible as they were backing the truck out of the driveway.

The man called the police, apparently upset that the two African American drivers would go onto his property to drop off a package with his wife in the home. Braswell said about 10 to 15 squad cars showed up and he overheard the man tell police, “What would happen if I wasn’t home? They look like they could’ve broken into our home.”

Braswell said that area of Georgia is always problematic for them while delivering packages. “Them white folks out there, man, they be looking at us crazy. That ain’t the first incident.”
