*Senior Scholar and Research Author Dr. Kerri Moseley-Hobbs launches the MoreThanaFraction.com website to provide a platform for her ever-expanding “More Than a Fraction” brand that began with publishing a creative non-fiction book “More Than a Fraction: Based on a true story,” established on documented research on her African-American heritage and her ancestry specifically.

The website offers answers to the many questions presented to her about her works and projects, such as her lecture series on African-American heritage and culture, as well as history and research on marginalized communities in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Requests for her to present the research in her book, and her contributions in historical projects and exhibits resulted in speaking engagements at bookstores, public libraries, museums, cultural centers, and universities. She has held several standing room only lectures on the campus of Virginia Tech University, with upcoming dates at various locations spread-out for the rest of 2020. The MoreThanaFraction.com website offers biographical details on Dr. Kerri Moseley-Hobbs, details on her upcoming works (including books); details on her current and upcoming projects (traveling exhibit, and work with universities, museums, and State governors); details on her 10-week Visiting Professor Course, “Displaced History,” as well as a series of Guest Lecturer subjects each focusing on shifting thinking about African-American history as part of the whole history of America and not an outlier that “might” be discussed.

“I receive a lot of questions on what I’m working on, and about opportunities to present this information to students, audiences, and other professionals interested in the subject,” Dr. Moseley-Hobbs said as to the reason why she launched the website.

The “More Than a Fraction: Displaced History Course,” as well as the Guest Lecturer Series includes a very powerful Power-Point segment that most audiences get very excited about as she highlights the separation of history, to the reunification of community.
