*Have you ever awakened in the middle of nowhere and had no clue how you got there? This is how season 2 of Amazon’s “Homecoming” opens.
Janelle Monae co-stars this season and her character has to figure out how she ended up in a boat floating in a lake. Not only is Monae’s character trying to put together the missing pieces, so is the audience, as they are introduced to this new character.
“Homecoming” is definitely binge-watch worthy because of the way the story unfolds little by little each episode. It is what draws you in and builds the anticipation for what’s to come next. The first episode of this season will have views asking many questions, such as where is Walter? The first season ended with him not having to go back to war and it’s hinted that he has some of his memory but not all.

EURweb correspondent LMarie spoke with the incredibly talented singer/actress about what drew her to this role. Like a lot of viewers, she too was a fan of the first season and was intrigued by how the show is written and that excited her.
“One, I was a fan of the first season, I was a fan of the podcast. When I read this season, it was done so smart,” says Monae.
She also goes on to mention how she admired the main premise of the show, which focuses on how soldiers are treated once they become vets. Season two digs deeper into the purpose of the homecoming experiment and if it really worked on the soldiers and if it’s possible to sell the serum mainstream.
With all the twists and turns, “Homecoming,” season two will keep you busy while practicing safer-at-home orders during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
