*Umm, er, can somebody tell us what da hey-all is going on? Is there something in the water that NFLers are drinking that’s turning them stupid? Well, maybe some of them don’t need anything added to bring out their stupidity.

Earlier, we reported the case of the two NFL players, Deandre Baker and Quinton Dunbar who are accused of armed robbery. Now, we’re learning of the situation Washington Redskins star Cody Latimer‘s got himself in. He was put in lockdown this weekend after cops say he was involved in assaulting someone and illegally using a firearm.

Latimer, a Redskins wide receiver, was taken into custody just after midnight Saturday morning in Englewood, Colorado, where cops were summoned to an apartment complex he was at.

The police say when they arrived they found Latimer and two other people inside and one of them not named Cody Latimer had minor injuries unrelated to a gunshot. They were detained, but only Latimer was ultimately arrested, a cording to TMZ Sports.

He was booked on several charges … assault in the second degree, illegal discharge of a firearm, prohibited use of a weapon, reckless endangerment and menacing. He was processed at the Douglas County Detention Facility — and has reportedly already bailed out on a $25,000 bond.

If you’re wondering, here’s what the team had to say about the incident:

“We are aware of the situation and have informed the NFL League Office. We will continue to gather more information and have no further comment at this time.”

This is not Cody Latimer’s first bust for being and boy in Colorado. He was arrested in 2016 during a domestic disturbance call he made on his GF when he played for the Denver Broncos. However, it was later revealed Latimer was only taken in on an outstanding warrant for a failure to appear in court from a traffic ticket.
