Boosie Badazz Clears Up JAY-Z Comments Over Dwyane Wade’s Transgender Child [WATCH]

*Boosie Badazz has addressed his past criticism of Dwyane Wade exploiting his 12-year-old son Zion by claiming he’s actually a transgender girl named Zaya.

Shortly after his initial comments caused an uproar across social media earlier this year, the rapper appeared on “The Breakfast Club” and suggested that “they” were “trying to hook up a meeting with JAY-Z,” so that he could mediate a face-to-face sit down with Boosie and D. Wade.

In a new interview with VladTV, Boosie clarified what really went down in that attempt to get him to apologize to the NBA star.

“The people got it wrong,” Boosie said during the conversation, via Complex. “The owner of my reality show, he know Jay. We started losing advertising, he like, ‘Imma call Jay. Jay can put you on the line with Dwyane Wade and y’all do some shit. We clear this shit up and go get the bag. Whoopty woo. Jay can make it happen.’ He the one who can make it happen. He from New York, my boy from New York. I was just like, no, bruh. No, I ain’t…I stand what I stand on. I don’t feel I said nothing wrong to apologize for.”

Boosie also revealed that his mother “got on [his] ass about the situation.”

“That’s where I got that line from, ‘Who am I to judge?’ ‘Cause she kept saying that. And I just made the song,” he said, referring to his new single, “Who Am I to Judge,” which he released in April.

 “I ain’t apologizing,” he added.

“I feel kids can’t make decisions like that at that age and I just believe in traditional values, that’s all,” Boosie said. “And people took it the wrong way but I wasn’t trying to harm nobody about it. I don’t have nothing against nobody or nothing like that.”

Back in February, the hip-hop star pleaded with Wade on Instagram not to cut his son’s “d*ck off” after claiming his son wants to live his truth as a girl.

“Like, bruh, for real, if he gon’ be gay, let him be gay,” Boosie said. “But don’t cut his dick off, bruh. Don’t—and dress him as a woman, dawg. He’s 12-years-old. He’s not up there yet. He hasn’t made his final decisions yet.”
