Diplo Announces Birth of His ‘Quarantine Baby’ with Model Jevon King: ‘I Havent Met Him Yet’

*DJ and record producer, Diplo, 41, confirmed on social media on Mother’s Day that he and model Jevon King, a former Miss Universe contestant, have welcomed their first child together.

As noted by MSN, King, 30, revealed back in October that she was expecting a baby, though kept the identity of the father private, even after announcing the birth of her son, on March 20.

She named her baby boy Pace, and he is Diplo’s third child. He also shares two sons with ex Kathryn Lockhart. 

“Thanks for giving me life and helping me create it,” Diplo wrote on Instagram, alongside three photos: one of him and his mother; one of Lockhart and their sons; and another of King holding Pace — swipe the Instagram post below to check out the images.

He also shared another clip of his son, writing, “So I had an entire ass baby during quarantine. I was hesitant to post him because not only does he already had a better haircut than me.. But also because I havent met him yet since we are separated by a million miles and closed borders. His name is Pace, he and his mommy are super healthy and happy and I’m going to meet them as soon as we turn a corner on this world shutdown.”

King celebrated Mother’s Day by sharing photos of Pace on Instagram.

“In the midst of all this chaos you’ve been my peace………….??,” she wrote, captioning a picture of herself holding the baby. She included the hashtags, #myfirstmothersday #happymothersday #myson #myheartbeat #mylifeline.  

She also shared a closeup image of Pace, writing”  “As your mother I promise to love you, protect you, guide you, teach you, inspire you, provide for you and most importantly pray for you.”
