*Conservative commentator Candace Owens was suspended from Twitter after criticizing Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) in a tweet and encouraging residents to defy the stay-at-home order.
Whitmer signed an executive order on Thursday extending business closures through May 28 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Owens has been using her twitter account to reject what the media is selling about the deadly contagion.
“I don’t know if I was being fearless or if everyone else was just being a coward but I’m glad to see everyone else wake up to the truth. Media has never been able to bully me into submission. The numbers never made any sense. I just have more of a spine than most,” Owens tweeted.

As noteded by thejasminebrand.com, Twitter locked Candy out of her account after she advised Michigan residents to violate the state’s lockdown order.
“Apparently [Governor Whitmer] believes she is a duly elected dictator of a socialist country. The people of Michigan need to stand up to her. Go to work. The police think she’s crazy too. They are not going to arrest 10,000,000 people for going to work,” she wrote on May 1.
The tweet has since been removed by Twitter, and Owens addressed the matter in a statement to the MAGA blog Gateway Pundit — peep her response below:
Many of Owens’s colleagues and social media followers have been using the hashtag #FreeCandaceOwens to show their support.
Donald Trump Jr. tweeted, “Heard from my friend @RealCandaceO that she got banned from @Twitter for simply telling the people of #Michigan they should go to work. If the Social Media Masters ban you for that w/o an explanation, imagine what they’ll do to try to influence the election given their politics!”
A Twitter spokesperson said Candace’s tweet was removed because it violated their COVID-19 misinformation policy.
