*New York, NY – Today, on Giving Tuesday, The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation (TASF) and The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation (BLHF) announced their partnership to provide support to essential workers, first responders, health care providers, doctors, individuals, families and youth who are navigating stressful situations, learning how to cope with major lifestyle changes, battling mental-health conditions while in isolation, and/or struggling with substance abuse, during this pandemic. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving and unity and is an emergency response to the unprecedented need for therapy for mental-health that cause stress/trauma due to COVID-19.

The partnership consists of a Matching Gift campaign to support free access to Mental Health Therapy in response to the COVID-19 crisis. All funds, up to $25,000, raised by TASF on Giving Tuesday will be matched and donated to BLHF. Supporters can text SHAKUR to 44321 to donate.

Immediately after Giving Tuesday, TASF will launch a fundraising campaign for Phase I of the Healing Tank, an ongoing mental-health wellness program that will allow individuals an opportunity to receive services designed to address mental health needs; i.e. depression, anxiety, substance abuse etc. and to help with long-term trauma and triggers caused by COVID-19. Boris Henson Foundation

The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation recognizes that during this difficult time, affording the cost of mental health services can be a barrier in the African American community. In an effort to aid in providing resources during this pandemic, BLHF launched the COVID-19 Free Virtual Therapy Support Campaign to raise money for mental health services provided by licensed clinicians in their network. Individuals with life-changing stressors and anxiety related to COVID-19 will have the cost for up to five individual sessions defrayed on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds are committed or exhausted.

Lukevision, Underground Hits, Twelve27 Heads to Speak at ‘ULMII’ Entertainment Conference

*On Saturday, November 7, 2020 between 1-3pmPT at the 21st annual Los Angeles “Uplifting Minds II” Entertainment Conference via Zoom video conferencing the heads of two record labels, two management companies and a music producer to speak on the Professional Panel. The conference offers a “Q and A Session” with the panelists, a “professional talent showcase,” and a “national talent competition.” One winner from each category – singer, songwriter, dance or acting – in the competition will be selected by the panel to receive the 2020 ‘ULMII Best Artist” Award and over $15,000 valued in prizes.

Lukevision Enterprises was founded in 2001 by Will Luke and is a management company and record label with a current roster that includes Netherland Hip-Hop/Pop singer/songwriter Odillia (pictured bottom right) and five year-old Los Angeles singing prodigy Lil’ Matick. Odillia is currently promoting her new single “End of the World” featuring rapper Lil’ Keed, a nice club single of eternal love and is produced by Robert Watson (Twelve27 Production). Odillia relocated to Los Angeles from her home in the Netherlands after winning Holland’s “Got Talent” reality competition, and immediately signed with Lukevision. Her single “End of the World” is accompanied by a music video. Lil’ Matick is currently promoting his debut single “I Love Hugs!.” Written by the young singer, “I Love Hugs!” is also accompanied by a music video that is certainly made for kids his age. His father is Will Luke, a 20 year music industry executive from Ohio, now living in Los Angeles. Luke has worked with Snoop Dogg, Jodeci, Nipsey Hussel, Don Omar and ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons. Underground Hits Production, founded and headed by D. Baldwin ( is a management company, record label and marketing group. Its roster consist of managing R&B singing sensation Eli (pictured bottom left), rapper Y.F.R.S., and Hip-Hop singer, songwriter, rapper and model Gxlden Doll aka Gene$i$ (pictured top). It also includes handling marketing for Motor Sports’ Richard Petty and NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace. The 19 year-old Kansas City native, Gxlden Doll, has garnered four nominations from Kansas City’s “People’s Choice Awards” – “Best Female Vocalist,” “Best Female Rapper,” “Best Make-Up Artist,” and “Best Model.” Both Gxlden Doll and Eli will perform Saturday, November 7th at the Los Angeles “ULMII” Entertainment Conference between 1-3pmPT during the “Professional Talent Showcase” via Zoom.

*(New York, N.Y.) — ESSENCE Girls United, the premier destination for young Black women leaders and cultural disruptors – announces the first-ever ESSENCE Girls United Summit, sponsored by Ulta Beauty and McDonald’s Black & Positively Golden movement.

Led by young Black women for young Black women, this impactful summit will convene the next generation of scholars, activists, leaders and creators to empower young Black women on topics that matter to them. The ESSENCE Girls United summit will take place virtually on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 6 P.M. – 10 P.M. ET on and ESSENCE Studios.

Amidst the multigenerational struggle for racial justice, equal rights and social and political change in America today, the summit answers the urgent need to amplify, connect, inspire and empower Black women and girls. In alignment with this year’s International Day of the Girl, the ESSENCE Girls United Summit takes on the United Nation’s 2020 theme for the day: “My voice, our equal future.”

With robust programming, the virtual summit will feature panels, workshops and masterclasses with artists, celebrities, influencers and entrepreneurs about a range of topics, including self-empowerment, self-care, finances, voting, and standing up for LGBTQIA+ rights. The summit will culminate with special evening virtual performances, featuring Tobe Nwigwe, Donmonique, Tina Queen, Cuppy and G.L.A.M.

RAY J Opens Up About Relationship with Estranged Wife Princess Love on New Single ‘Hurt You’ [LISTEN]




*Following news that Ray J is moving forward with the divorce from his estranged wife Princess Love, the singer has dropped a new single titled “Hurt You,” which you can listen to via the YouTube player above. 

According to the press release, “Hurt You” precedes Ray J’sfifth studio album, RAYDIATION X, due Fall 2020 via Knockout Entertainment and Create Music Group. The project is the follow-up to his third studio album, 2005’s RAYDIATION.

In the lyrics for “Hurt You,” Ray J opens up about his widely publicized relationship with Princess Love.

EURweb previously reported, two months after Love made a request to dismiss her filing to legally end their marriage, the singer made his own filing this week to proceed with the divorce.

Ray J is also asking for joint custody of the couple’s two children: 9-month-old son Epik Ray, and daughter Melody Love, 2, according to The Blast

Back in May, Love, 35, filed papers in LA County Superior Court, TMZ reported. She and Ray J had already been living separately after their epic Las Vegas meltdown last year, in which Love accused him of abandoning her and their daughter following a blow up the BET Awards. She was pregnant with their son at the time. 

Following the incident, Love said she had no desire to continue the marriage and Ray J was photo’d out without his wedding band.

A rep for the couple told PEOPLE at the time, “It’s a very difficult time for both Princess and Ray J and we are asking that we just let them have their privacy as they work through and deal with this very trying situation.”

Weeks after Princess filed for divorce, Ray J noted in a virtual press conference that he was happy to be “back with the kids.” He also gushed about being reunited with his family to celebrate Melody’s birthday in May.

Meanwhile, Create Music Group said of Ray’s new album, “We’re extremely thrilled to be partnering with Ray J and Knockout Ent. for the release of his new project, ‘Hurt You’. Ray has been an icon in the space for years, and we’re excited to help tell the newest chapter in his story.”

The single “Hurt You” is available now via all major digital retail and steaming services.
