*A New Orleans hospital tapped the city’s musical tradition in the release of its 1,500th patient who beat COVID-19.

Kathleen Bennett was serenaded with a trombone-led rendition of “When the Saints Go Marching In” as she was being wheeled out of Ochsner Medical Center on Monday.

The 57-year-old, who suffers from Lupus,, was first admitted to OMC on March 27 and required a stay in the ICU where “she experienced complications related to COVID-19” and was on a ventilator for roughly 12 days, according to the hospital. On Monday, the tearful Bennett was reunited with her granddaughter.
