Kierra Sheard dropped vocal blessings the masses during her Billboard Live At-Home concert on Thursday (April 23) while also raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charities Detroit, which provides resources for families of locally hospitalized children.
She did one song twice during the half-hour livestream – the aptly titled “It Keeps Happening,” from her new album, KIERRA, released last week. “It’s a declarative song that you can use and speak over your life,” she said after her first performance of it. “It’s very encouraging, especially during this time, because I know God has given us some promises.”
The Grammy-winning gospel star also thanked commenters who sent condolences for the loss of her 84-year-old grandmother Willie Mae Sheard to the coronavirus last Sunday, April 19.
