50 Cent Hits Teairra Mari With Lien Over $40K Judgement

*50 Cent has filed a lien on Teairra Mari’s assets in an effort to collect on a debt she owes him.

This the latest development in an ongoing feud between the two that stems from Mari’s revenge porn lawsuit against the rapper/actor after he re-posted a pic from her leaked sex tape to his social media. The graphic image was originally posted by her ex-boyfriend, Akbar Adbul-Ahad. A judge dismissed Mari’s case against 50 Cent last year, while also ordering her to pay him over $30,000 in legal fees.

50 Cent has since taken shots at her on Instagram, often reminding Teairra to pay him what she owes.

The singer fired back with diss track titled “I Ain’t Got It.”

According to The Blast, the hip-hop star also sent formal requests to companies Teairra works with to garnish her wages. Under California law, if a lien is enforced, he can take her property such as real estate, art, antiques, jewelry, etc. to use as payment for the debt. The report also notes that in California, liens can last up to 10 years.

Earlier this year, “The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star was ordered by a Los Angeles judge to pay an additional $5K to Fif.

The court ordered Mari to hand over financial records 50 Cent to help him collect on the $30K, after he rejected her claim of being broke.

In court docs he claimed, “To date, Mari has failed to pay a single dime to Jackson in satisfaction of the Judgment despite earning over $100,000 this past year. Her previous claims under oath that she is “broke” no longer ring true, and it is more clear than ever that she has no intention of paying her debts.”

In April 2019, a bench warrant was issued for Teairra Marie when she failed to show for a court appearance and provide details of her personal finances.

50 Cent uploaded a screenshot of an article about the bench warrant to his Instagram page along with the caption: “See the shit ain’t funny now, is it funky.”

“You best be coming up with my money,” he added. “I’m a need 75K now after they add all additional legal fees. The Law is The Law.”
