*Jodie Turner-Smith and husband Joshua Jackson have welcomed their first child together, a girl.
“Both mother and baby are happy and healthy,” a rep for the couple told Page Six.
The rep did not reveal the sex of the baby, but Turner-Smith previously shared that she was expecting a girl.
“Can you see her dancing in there? Every time I try to record she stops,” she said in a video of her stomach last month.

Around the same time, Jackson confessed to being nervous about becoming a new dad during the COVID-19 pandemic, per PEOPLE.
“I’ve never been a parent before, so I’m not quite sure how much of this is just first-baby anxiety and how much of this is pandemic anxiety,” he said.
He then told “Good Morning,” “Obviously, it’s a bit stressful right now and we’re just trying to figure out how to be smart about being quarantined. The medical system right now is a little bit difficult, so we’re figuring it out day by day.”
Jackson added, “But she’s healthy and the baby’s healthy, so that’s important.”
Shortly before announcing the birth of their daughter, Turner-Smith reflected on her journey into motherhood.
“A fantastic voyage that begins in wonder and transformation,” she wrote on Instagram. “I will never forget how this felt and now won’t soon forget how it looked.”
