*Vanessa Bryant shared a photo of her adorable 10-month-old daughter Capri, to her Instagram account only two days after she posted a loving tribute to her late husband Kobe Bryant on their 19th wedding anniversary.
Bryant passed away on Jan. 26 along with the couple’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna “Gigi” Bryant, and seven others in a deadly helicopter crash near Calabasas.
“My king, my heart, my best friend. Happy 19th wedding anniversary baby. I miss you so much. I wish you were here to hold me in your arms. I love you,” Vanessa captioned the photo — a throwback of the two cuddling up together on the couch (see below).

On April 17, GiGi was posthumously awarded an honorary WNBA draft pick, along with her fellow Mamba Academy teammates Alyssa Altobelli and Payton Chester.
Altobelli and Chester were among nine people who died in the helicopter crash. Their family members recorded thank you speeches for the honor including Vanessa, who recalled both her daughter and husband’s passion for basketball.
“Thank you so much for honoring my Gigi and selecting her to be an honorary draft pick this year. It would’ve been a dream come true for her,” Vanessa said. “She worked tirelessly every single day. She wanted to be one of the greatest athletes of all time, just like her daddy. So thank you. Thank you for honoring my little girl. Kobe and Gigi loved the WNBA…this is [Kobe’s] sweatshirt…I want to congratulate all of this year’s draft picks. So congratulations. Work hard. Never settle. Use that Mamba Mentality.”

On April 20, Vanessa took to her personal Instagram account to share the cutest photo of her young daughter.
“Capri Kobe Bryant,” she captioned the image, adding heart emojis and the hashtag “10 months” to mark the baby’s age. Check out the post below.
In related news, the surviving members of the Altobelli family and Mauser family have filed wrongful death lawsuits against the helicopter company Island Express after John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli and Christina Mauser died in the same crash that killed Kobe and Gianna, TMZ Sports reports.
This comes after attorneys for Vanessa filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company.
“Defendant Island Express Helicopters authorized, directed and/or permitted a flight with full knowledge that the subject helicopter was flying into unsafe weather conditions,” the lawsuit said.
