*Most reporters broadcasting from home usually plop themselves in front of a bookshelf to avoid nosey viewers seeing all of their business in the background.
But Melinda Meza, a correspondent for KCRA 3 in Sacramento, had to do a live shot from her bathroom because the topic was grooming tips during quarantine. And sure enough, the activity going on behind her became more interesting than anything she was saying.
A fuzzy silhouette, believed to be the reporter’s husband of six years, Mike de Lambert, was seen buck naked in the shower just over her left shoulder.
Twitter, of course, exploded. One user attempted to make sense of what appeared to be a rookie faux pas, tweeting, “They’re def in the shower. We are seeing him in the reflection of a 2nd mirror that’s on the door of the bathroom. He isn’t moving because he doesn’t want to be seen on the large mirror behind the woman, not knowing he is seen by the 2nd mirror.”
Another joked: “Damn why she wanna work when she’s got all that at home?”
