Stimulus Checks Could Face Delay ‘Cause Trump wants His Name on Them As Signee

*You know those stimulus checks we’ve all been waiting for? Well, now it’s looking like it’s gonna take even longer to get to us.

The story goes that late Monday evening, the U.S. Treasury Department ordered the Internal Revenue Service to print President Donald Trump‘s moniker on the stimulus checks it is sending to millions of Americans nationwide, according to the Washington Post.

The Treasury Department’s order could cause the checks to be delayed by several days or longer, senior agency officials told the publication.

This move by the orange a-hole in the White House will mark the first time in history that a president’s name has ever appeared on an IRS disbursement. That’s because, for obvious reasons such as being non-partisan, presidents’ names don’t appear on checks issued by the Treasury Department.

At this point, we can’t believe he didn’t try to have his face on the check, too. But we digress. Trump’s name will appear on the memo line appearing left side of the stimulus check.
