‘The Real At Home’ Ladies Look Forward to When The Stay-At-Home Order is Lifted + Ron Funches Joins!

*On Tuesday, April 14, The Real From Home has each co-host bringing Girl Chat from her home, discussing what they are looking forward to once the stay-at-home order is over.

And how is co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley dealing with homeschooling her two children during the pandemic?  She gives her brutally honest answer and even gets graded by both of her kids!

Then comedian Ron Funches joins us from his home to chat about competing on The Funny Dance Show where co-host Loni Love is a judge, his advice to viewers on how to get through these difficult times, and when he thinks it will be appropriate to joke about the pandemic.

And The Real reaches out to a new mother in St. Clair, MI who lost her job due to the COVID-19 outbreak and lends her a helping hand. The show will be reaching out to people in similar situations as the pandemic continues.

What The Ladies Are Looking Forward To When Quarantine Is Over

Amanda Seales: What we gon’ do when the quarantine is over? What comes to mind for you all?

Adrienne Houghton: I’m gonna do my nails. (Shows her nails)

Jeannie Mai: (Shows her nails) Get these nails off! Yo, Ade! Ade! Straight up!

Amanda: (Laughs) You both said nails!

Tamera Mowry-Housley: (Shows her nails) Same! But, um, I’m gonna go see my dad, you guys. Uh, I haven’t seen my dad in a while. (Gets emotional)

Loni Love: I know. There are a lot of people that are unable to see– Um, James can’t see his mother. Currently she’s– she has Alzheimer’s. Um, we go to the window and we try and see her, and they roll her to the window. This is a really hard time for a lot of people because they can’t see their loved ones. So, we have to remember that.

Tamera: Yeah, my dad, um, my dad struggles with COPD. And that’s, basically, a pulmonary disease. So, he’s like, if anything, I’m like, you know, “We’ll see each other. You know, like drive on by!” You know, whatever. And he is so protective. He’s like, “No! I don’t want you to get it!” And then I’m like, “No! I don’t want you to get it!” We FaceTime, but there’s just something about human touch. And I think that is what I’m missing the most. My friends… I have my family, I have my kids you know. And that– and that’s a blessing. But at the same time, I miss just a hug… from my sister, from my dad, from my mom, from my brother, from my– from my best friends. You know? And at the same time…

Loni: I miss the stage.

Tamera: Huh?

Amanda: I miss my cats.

Loni: I miss the stage. Don’t you, Amanda? I miss– I miss performing. Everything cut. Everything was cut. All our gigs were cut. We couldn’t perform. And I never realized how much I miss those dirty musty comedy clubs until now.

[EDIT]

Amanda: I haven’t seen my cats in a month. I’m absolutely– I’m absolutely… when this quarantine is done, I’m making out with somebody. So…
