Evelyn Lozada Returning to ‘Basketball Wives’ Following Racism Allegations

*Evelyn Lozada is allegedly returning to “Basketball Wives,” and she’s already filming the new season, theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports.

Evelyn’s reported return may come as no surprise to some fans of the show, despite calls for her to be fired following accusations that she’s a bigot.

Her ongoing drama with several co-stars, including Ogom “OG” Chijindu, who accused Evelyn of being a racist, put her future on the show in doubt. But sources close to the VH1 production previously spilled to TMZ that producers had approached her about a comeback for season 9.

Evelyn also recently hinted at quitting her longtime reality show when asked by a fan if she’d return.

In October, Lozada sued Chijindu, for defamation, claiming OG’s accusations that Evelyn is a racist cost her endorsements and various branding opportunities.

OG filed her own lawsuit against Evelyn last week, according to reports, alleging that she is suffering severe stress related to her fallout with Lozada, which has landed her in the emergency room.

Meanwhile, we previously reported how Lozada has embarked on a spiritual journey that saw her get baptized late last year at the Freedom Church in California.

In a post on her Instagram page, the reality TV star wrote, “This journey though personal is also about staying true to who I am, who HE is and what truly feeds my soul.”

“My soul needed something positive,” she said during an interview with Baller Alert.

“Something was missing, it was on my heart, it was on my mind [to get Baptized],” Lozada continued.

“I’m not living my life for Instagram, Facebook, I’m living my life for my family, my kids, and God,” Lozada said.

To prove her devotion, the single mother of two has decided to refrain from having sex.
