‘HAWAII FIVE-0’ Exclusive Clip: Lance Gross to Guest Star in Tonight’s Series Finale [WATCH]

*”HAWAII FIVE-0” fans will soon be saying goodbye to one of CBS’ most iconic remakes when the series airs its finale on Friday night. 

In an episode titled “Aloha,” the mystery of “McGarrett’s father will finally be revealed after 10 action packed seasons of the show. We will also be cheering on the newest member of the team actor Lance Gross who joined forces with his new found brothers and sisters. The episode will be filled with highs, lows, action and lots of sentiment,” via the press release. 

The popular Friday night crime drama and a reimagining of Leonard Freeman’s classic series premiered Sept. 20, 2010. It series Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Ian Anthony Dale, Meaghan Rath, Beulah Koale, Katrina Law, Taylor Wily, Dennis Chun, Kimee Balmilero and Chi McBride

Check out our exclusive clips of the episode, featuring Gross as Lincoln Cole, a decorated war hero and ex-Marine Gunnery Sergeant with the Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team. Lincoln’s actions as an anonymous good Samaritan now has him in the crosshairs of some very dangerous people and McGarrett (Loughlin) and Five-0 are determined to protect him at all costs.

Lance, who joined the series for the finale two episodes, shared a photo of himself along with his castmates in a post announcing the finale on his Instagram page (see above). 

Gross recently starred as a series regular on “Star” and “Sleepy Hollow” (Fox), a recurring role on ‘MacGyver” (CBS), Amazon’s “Too Old To Die Young,” and he lead of the NBC drama “Crisis.” He is the first actor to win four NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role on Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne.” Other credits include the Tyler Perry film “Temptation,” the remake of “Steel Magnolias” (Lifetime); in Fox Searchlight’s “Our Family Wedding;” and has guest starred on USA Network’s “Royal Pains.”

Meanwhile, Hawaii Five-0’s showrunner Peter M. Lenkov has given viewers a tease about what they can expect, telling TVLine:

“[It] checks every box with regards to what this show has always been about, which is family, which is about a connection between these people. It’s got big action, it’s got some big surprises and twists, but most of all the thing is really rooted in heart, which has been a big ingredient that has played in this show since the beginning.”

Tune-in to the series finale of “HAWAII FIVE-0” on Friday, April 3 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.
