*A molecular scientist in Buffalo, New York, is going viral after writing lyrics about how to stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic to Lil Boosie’s hit single “Wipe Me Down.”
Raven Baxter, a.k.a. Raven the Science Maven, said it only took two hours for her to write her version, titled “Wipe It Down.” She includes tips about how to stay safe during the pandemic.
“I want people to be aware of their surroundings and not be so careless, because the truth of the matter is, many people who carry COVID-19 may not show symptoms,” she told Spectrum News Buffalo. “So, it doesn’t matter if you’re coughing or sneezing, everybody needs to stay home and take precautions.”
Baxter is currently pursuing a PhD in science education at the University at Buffalo and working on a rap album about science called “The Protocol.” Watch her coronviral video below.
