THE REAL: All New! How Much Honesty Do the Hosts REAL-ly Want from Each Other?

*On Wednesday, March 25, on an all-new The Real, the ladies discuss how they prefer to receive honesty from others and which of their co-hosts they feel are the most honest with them. Co-host Loni Love re-enacts the way her co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley delivers her true feelings. And co-host Jeannie Mai describes the way her co-host Adrienne Houghton gives her raw opinions.

Then, the ladies admit to occurrences that make them realize they’re getting older. Jeannie sometimes wishes the music in clubs wasn’t so loud, Loni’s eyesight is not what it once was, Adrienne’s body parts crack sometimes, and Tamera takes a growing list of supplements to fight the aging process!

And, after many years of not addressing conflicting information regarding the real date of her birthday, Loni finally sets the record straight!

How Much Honesty Do The Hosts Really Want From Each Other?

Jeannie Mai: Who is the most honest, almost viscerally honest to you? Who is the person that, like, lets you know what they’re thinking at all times?

Loni Love: (Points to Jeannie) You.

Jeannie: Okay. Okay.

Adrienne Houghton: You…

Jeannie: (To Adrienne) Or Ray a little bit. Is it Ray?

Adrienne: Or, or, or, like, if she feels discernment to tell me something, it would be Tam.

Loni: Oh, yes. Oh, yes. Yes, yes, yes.

Jeannie: Do you like that?

Adrienne: Yeah, I do like that…

Loni: I don’t.

Adrienne: I like it being told to me in private.

Jeannie: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

Loni: (Points at Tamera) She’s good at that.

Adrienne: I, I also think that there is a time and a place to tell somebody what you think. If God is giving you a message for some– there is a time and a place for it.

Loni: What Tam do is she come to your room…

Tamera Mowry-Housley: Oh no.

Adrienne: I appreciate that.

Loni: (Slides towards Adrienne and pretending to be Tamera) “You know God has given me discernment.”

(The Real audience laughs)

Jeannie: Yeah. Yeah. She does.

Adrienne: I’m into it!

Loni: (Continues pretending to be Tamera) “And your situation is not his situation.”

Tamera: It’s always uplifting, though! Always uplifting for the most part.

Jeannie: Yeah, she does.

Loni: It’s uplifting, but, the look on your face is, like, uuuhh.

Adrienne: Have I ever rolled up to any of your rooms and been, like, “I just wanna give you unsolicited advice”?

Jeannie: No.

Tamera: No.

Adrienne: That is not my personality.

Jeannie: Who would say that, though? But, you have in our seven year, I think, of friendship… you have a couple times come up to me and you said, “Yo, I wanna say something, but I know this is so raw.”

Loni: (Claps) I love when she do that.

Jeannie: And it’s the best ever! The best!

Loni: Yeah. It be juicy! I’d be something juicy, though.

Adrienne: But, it takes a lot. If I get to that point, one, it means that I actually really trust you. Two, it actually means I’m comfortable sharing– I can be difficult with vulnerability. So, even me telling you something, like, I can feel uncomfortable. So, if I’ve ever come to you and said that, it means that I absolutely trust you. I feel comfortable with you, and that is significant to me.

Jeannie: Yes! And on the receiving end, it showed to me what kind of a friend you are every single time.

Loni: And I just don’t wanna hear nothin’.
