‘Red Table Talk’ on COVID-19 Part 2 Coming This Week

Red Table Talk - Smith family

*We heard from the folks at Facebook Watch’s “Red Table Talk”  who let us know that part two the Smith’s talk on COVID-19 will be this coming week and they’ll circle back with a confirmed date. And of course, as soon as they do, we’ll let you know.

And speaking of part two, the episode will focus on the massive mental health burden of the pandemic as Jada, Gammy and Willow are joined via satellite by psychologist Dr. Ramani Durvasula and motivational speaker Jay Shetty to help viewers manage anxiety and stress in the age of COVID-19.

To recap, in part one of this two-part episode, Jada and Will Smith (who jokingly said he felt responsible for spreading misinformation on viruses in his film, “I Am Legend,”) held a Red Table Talk with the entire family, except for Jaden as he has been practicing social distancing to protect Gammy. They were joined via satellite by Michael Osterholm, director for the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, and Chiara Digiallorenzo, a 25-year-old COVID-19 patient who has been sharing her journey on Instagram, to discuss the Coronavirus pandemic. If you haven’t watched part one yet, you can check it out on Facebook Watch HERE or via the player below.
