*The president just wrapped up his daily coronavirus presser and will no doubt make headlines over his response to questions about him calling the pandemic the “Chinese Virus.”

“PBS NewsHour’s” White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor, whom Trump said asked a “nasty question” at Friday’s coronavirus presser [scroll down for more on that], today asked Trump to comment on the fact that someone in his administration even went so far as to call the coronavirus “Kung Flu.”

Trump demanded to know who this person was. Alcindor said she didn’t know the person’s identity, so Trump moved on without answering.

Earlier today, Alcindor and the WH press corp had an outdoor gaggle with Kellyanne Conway. It appears that Trump picked up on her response to Alcindor’s same question, which was to demand that Alcindor join her at the microphone and reveal who said the racist remark. In the midst of their back and forth, Conway felt it necessary to say, “I’m married to an Asian. I mean … my kids are 25% Filipino.”

Watch below:

On Friday, Alcindor asked Trump about his 2018 dismantling of a federal pandemic unit and if it hampered current efforts to respond more quickly to the coronavirus. Trump told Alcindor that she asked a “nasty question.”

The moment made headlines and prompted Alcindor to address it the next day on “Morning Joe.”
