*Snoop Dogg is not happy with today’s news that the Dallas Cowboys gave quarterback Dak Prescott an exclusive franchise tag instead of a long term contract.

The franchise tag is a designation that NFL teams can place on a player who’s scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent. It locks the player down for one more year and prevents him from being signed by another team. Each team only has one franchise tag and one transition tag per year.

Uncle Snoop is a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but was highly upset about Dak’s treatment in Dallas today. He called up ESPN’s “First Take” to air out his agitation with Stephen A. Smith, Max Kellerman and Marcus Spears. “Dak can’t get paid? I don’t understand this,” the rapper said. He even suggested that racism may be involved, believing that white former quarterback Tony Romo “would’ve BEEN paid” if he was in Dak’s position.
