*Stephon Marbury is out here slandering perceived icons of the game while promoting his documentary “A Kid from Coney Island.”
On Hot97’s Ebro in the Morning, the former NBA star threw a dart at Jay-Z, saying that while “he’s a person who can be really influential,” Marbury “doesn’t agree with the things that he says to manipulate people’s minds.” He also says that all of Jay-Z’s noble efforts for the culture are “too late.”
Earlier this week, Marbury was on Complex’s podcast Load Management when he said that LeBron James is a “fake Laker.” The sports world stopped (before the coronavirus really made it stop). The usual sports media suspects had steam coming out of their orifices and a whole lot to say.
Below are Marbury’s words, followed by reaction from Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe.

“I see so many people saying so many great things about Kobe and they hated Kobe…” @StarburyMarbury is not here for that fake Kobe love.
