*No Touching!

L.A. based Civil rights activist Najee Ali, is encouraging everyone nation-wide in the African-American community, in particular, to give as a greeting the Wakanda salute popularized in the Marvel movie “Black Panther” until a vaccine is released for the deadly Coronavirus virus which has now been labeled a pandemic by the CDC.

But “why?” you may be asking because there’s always the elbow bump. Well, even though people are being advised to do it, Ali says the elbow bump, in particular, isn’t really effective.

“People actually sneeze in their elbows where the virus can live and be passed on. And the first bump can still pass along the virus due too skin to skin contact,” says Ali. “The Wakanda salute involves no touching and is culturally unique and appropriate for our people stated Najee Ali.

Well, there ya have it. You’re feeling safer already, right?
