Exclusive Clip: ‘Waka & Tammy: What the Flocka’ – The Struggle is Real! [WATCH]

*Hip-hop star Waka Flocka and his wife Tammy are starring in their own reality series for WE tv, which premiere TONIGHT (March 12), joining the network’s hit programming slate, which reigns as the #1 network for Black women on Thursday and Friday nights.

“Waka & Tammy: What The Flocka” follows Hip Hop’s iconic sweethearts Waka Flocka Flame and his fiery wife Tammy Rivera as they navigate their renewed commitment to their relationship after their emotional roller-coaster on WE tv’s “Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition.” One year after the wedding of their dreams, Waka and Tammy find themselves in their new home in Atlanta, where they are navigating all the challenges of married life. From home renovation, juggling Tammy’s bustling music career, parenting their teenage daughter Charlie, and meddling in-laws, keeping their marriage strong takes work.

“Waka & Tammy: What The Flocka” consists of six, one-hour episodes and is produced by Entertainment One with eOne’s Tara Long, Gennifer Gardiner serving as executive producers alongside Tammy and Waka, Datari Turner, Debra Antney. Lauren Gellert and Kari McFarland are executive producing for WE tv.

“Most people get married, they go on their honeymoon, they come home to their new life, for us, it’s like a war zone,” Tammy says in the trailer for the series. “We love each other but we definitely argue a lot.”

The video then shows the couple arguing over  finances and parenting styles. “Me and my wife’s parenting style is total opposites,” Waka says. 

“Some days I hate my wife. Some days I love her,” he adds. “She’s worth fighting for.”

“Waka & Tammy: What the Flocka” will air Thursdays at 10 p.m. on WE tv. Check out the trailer below:
